Artist, Teresa Greve Wolf, Whose Art is Featured in Vail Colorado’s Avanti Art Gallery, Wins Jurors Award for the “Art and Social Justice Exhibition”

Award winning artist, Teresa Greve Wolf is participating with her Juror’s award winning piece, “I Can’t Breathe,” in the 32nd Annual Art and Social Justice Exhibition at the Colfax Gallery, South Bend, Indiana. The opening reception is July 16th from 7 to 9 pm.

Avanti Art Gallery and Teresa Greve Wolf are pleased to announce that she has been selected to participate in the 32nd Annual Art and Social Justice Exhibition in South Bend, Indiana. The theme this year: ‘A Socially Just World’, is especially reflective of the mission of the South Bend Heritage Foundation and inspired this annual juried exhibition. The Vail Colorado Gallery, Avanti Art featured artist won the 2021 Art and Social Justice Juror’s Award for her piece “I Can’t Breathe.” The opening reception is July 16, from 7 to 9 pm at 914 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, Indiana. 

The Jury felt the artist’s piece was particularly reflective of social justice/injustice and chose it as one of five pieces to highlight as a Juror’s Award.

Teresa Greve Wolf explains, “As an artist, I expect my art to compel. In today’s society, the issues of injustice are so stark and compelling. I hope that my piece, “I Can’t Breathe,” rattles one’s mind and that my art will inspire action.”
