Marqeta stock jumps out of the IPO gate, pushing valuation higher than $17 billion

Marqeta Inc. shares rallied on their first day of trading on the Nasdaq Wednesday then pared some of those gains as the session wore on after the payments infrastructure company priced its initial public offering above its previously forecast range.
