Indianapolis based mobile job search app adds job board industry innovator and Data Scientist Doyle Groves to its board of advisors.
INDIANAPOLIS - Aug. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Carmel-based WorkHere, a mobile, location-based job search app company, has added Doyle J Groves to its board of Advisors. Groves joins WorkHere's advisors after serving in data science leadership roles at Dice.com, Cha Cha, Social Reactor, Emerging Threats and ProofPoint where he currently serves as Data Scientist.

"We could not be more excited and honored to have Doyle Groves, one of the top data scientists in our industry, join our rapidly growing company," said WorkHere CEO Howard Bates. "Doyle's insights and analytics expertise will be invaluable!"

WorkHere's self-titled mobile and web app identifies jobs on a map enabling workers to see exactly where jobs are and apply or follow employers where they want to work ... According to Groves, "By putting location first, WorkHere is making it possible for workers to reduce commute times, remove stress from their lives and keep more of their wages. For employers, WorkHere addresses turnover by helping find local workers and build their employment brand while by creating a hyper local talent community."

Groves will be helping WorkHere better use data to help connect workers to employers. "A lot of inefficiency in the labor market begins with information disparity. Employers don't know where workers they can hire are and workers often are unaware there are jobs open near home or near their school. We want to make finding a great job as easy as hailing an Uber for everyone."

According to WorkHere CEO Howard Bates, "Most people are not aware that Indianapolis is ground zero for the job board industry with Bill Warren and Rick Wehrle creating Online Career Center and Doyle Groves helping build IT job search website E-Span (later JobOptions). Doyle also created JobBroadcasting.com which was acquired by Dice.com, where he then spent years building their business intelligence practice and team. Online Career Center was acquired and became Monster.com. WorkHere advisor Bill Warren was Monster's first President and the current CEO of DirectEmployers. With Doyle on our board of advisors, WorkHere is supported by three of the people that created the internet job board industry."
