FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - (NewMediaWire) - June 10, 2024 - SuperCloud International, Inc. (“Company” or “SuperCloud”), a privately held technology and entertainment holding company with B2B and B2C brands and services, announced today the completion of infrastructure upgrades to its proprietary Convergent Cloud Access System™ (CCAS) which supports the encrypted transfer of data between content providers and users of the Company’s UMAXX 5G TV and internet service. Built through strategic partnerships and over 15 years of research and development, the system has been rigorously tested. It is now ready for data transmission via the Company’s military-grade 5G network to consumer and business customers nationwide. The UMAXX 5G network, which is powered by the CCAS, offers industry-leading speed and privacy and is one of the only encrypted, closed-loop networks available for consumer use in the nation.
The proprietary CCAS data system was built to replace and improve upon traditional consumer cloud data solutions. The system offers military-grade encryption and hyper-speed data aggregation with almost unlimited scalability. The system acts as a conduit for all of SuperCloud’s data offerings, including its UMAXX 5G internet and TV service. In order to properly leverage the system, SuperCloud sought strategic partnerships with established network providers whose wireless infrastructure could help expand access to the system via existing 5G networks. After partnering with network providers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, along with several other MNO (Mobile Network Operators), SuperCloud was able to establish dedicated industrial M2M 5G I.o.T. (Internet of Things) via carrier network access and then integrate it into its CCAS throughout the national 5G network, which promises significantly increased privacy and reliability. Where many commercially available 5G networks only leverage one provider, the SuperCloud network pulls from multiple systems, creating a converged closed-loop, industrial grade 5G network typically reserved for military and first responders. Beyond reliability, the closed nature of the 5G network and the built-in encryption of CCAS offers users unmatched data security and privacy. The culmination of these efforts has resulted in the creation of one of the most viable and safe networks commercially available nationwide.
“We have now completed the first commercially available, private 5G closed-loop data cloud system with our MNO (Mobile Network Operators) strategic partners and nationwide access via the largest 5G networks in the US and are ready to deploy it to millions of users via our UMAXX TV and internet service,” said Jim Devericks, Chairman and CEO of SuperCloud International. “Having worked in the technology, cable TV, and wireless systems industries for over 20 years, I can confidently say that this is one of the fastest and most secure wireless networks available in the US. We spared no expense in developing and testing the CCAS and associated network access and could not be more pleased to reach this pivotal milestone. We hope to capitalize on our innovation as quickly as possible with the national expansion of our 5G TV (CloudCable) and internet service UMAXX – after which we plan to expand to take UMAXX globally.”
To allow authorized network access by users, SuperCloud partnered with leading consumer equipment manufacturers such as NetGear, Inseego and Nokia to provide the necessary hardware for commercial network and TV service access. Additionally, over the past five years, SuperCloud has entered numerous content licensing deals with companies such as Vubiquity and Mobibase, among many others, bringing UMAXX TV users over 350 channels of live TV via CloudCable. UMAXX users can access this live content on In-Home Service Applications (IHS) available on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, LG, Roku, Samsung and Google Android TV via Google Play Store when on the UMAXX 5G internet network. SuperCloud partnered with a Netherlands based set-top-box manufacturer for non-smart TV users to offer consumers a user-friendly solution via a Hybrid Set Top Box (STB) for turning their regular TVs into smart TVs capable of accessing UMAXX’s cloud cable channels. In anticipation of a nationwide launch, SuperCloud purchased an inventory of three different types of 5G Home Gateway and Mobile Hotspot router solutions capable of accessing its proprietary network and offering internet and TV to subscribers throughout the nation. All of this work has been instrumental in preparing the company for the fast-paced national growth of UMAXX, which the Company foresees as imminent.
