On July 20, 2004, Storage Technology Corporation (“StorageTek”) announced its results of operations for the fiscal quarter ended June 25, 2004 in a Press Release, dated July 20, 2004, a copy of which is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.

On July 20, 2004, StorageTek conducted its Second Quarter 2004 Financial Results Conference Call (the “Conference Call”) for the fiscal quarter ended June 25, 2004.
