On February 29, 2008 SI Financial Group, Inc., parent company of Savings Institute Bank & Trust Company, completed its acquisition of The Bank of Southern Connecticut’s branch office located in New London.  The press release announcing the agreement is included as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
