Election of Nanci Caldwell to the Board of Directors

On July 10, 2008 the Board of Directors of Citrix Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) elected Nanci Caldwell, the former Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Peoplesoft, which was acquired by Oracle in January 2005, to its Board of Directors.  On July 14, 2008, the Company issued a press release regarding Ms. Caldwell’s election.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

Ms. Caldwell was appointed to each of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors.
