According to the World Health Organization (WHO), one in every three women is victimized by domestic violence. In addition, a study reported that 25-40% of women initiate divorce due to domestic abuse. Think Like A Cop (TLAC) NOW, a company providing occupational safety and health service, knows all these facts too well which is why the company releases a new program to help protect domestic abuse survivors from their abusers.
“Domestic abuse survivors have to switch from a reactive or defensive to a proactive or offensive mindset when it comes to protecting themselves. Just because the relationship is over, doesn't necessarily mean that the abuser will give up,” said the company’s spokesperson.
TLAC NOW believes that every domestic abuse survivor should be well-informed of what their abusers are capable of and be prepared for anything that may come their way–including resurfacing abusers.
Aside from its new program for domestic abuse victims, TLAC NOW also offers a variety of courses that prepare people for abusive situations that threaten their personal safety. These courses include road rage education and defense, rideshare safety, robbery prevention, and ATM security.
