Opendoor, Carta, Matterport cut hundreds of jobs as COVID's startup toll grows

The Layoffs.fyi website, which has been keeping a running tally of startup cuts, says that 243 venture-backed companies in the U.S. have cut more than 23,000 people since March 11.
