The customizable layouts offered by Meridian’s events team can be adapted to each of the venue’s six ballrooms. The largest, the Grand Barcelona Ballroom, can provide a portable 16 by 24 ft stage which can be configured to suit the couples’ preferred setup. Meridian explains that wedding planners often recommend this option to ensure that the newlywed couple, or the evening’s entertainment, remain visible to the up to 600 guests the 12,000 sq ft room can accommodate.
The mid-sized Valencia Ballroom features projection screens to add personal photo displays to the wedding day decor and can be set up with either theater or banquet-style seating to maximize capacity.
Further customization can be achieved by taking advantage of Meridian’s rental decor packages which include tables, chairs, floral arrangements, drapery, arches, centerpieces and aisle decor.
The smaller Madrid Ballroom, with an 80 to 100 guest capacity, offers an optional raised platform, pillars, and drapery to create a more intimate atmosphere. Meridian also recommends perusing the new custom lighting options which complement the venue’s sloped ceilings.
All three of these ballrooms have access to one of Meridian’s staging or prep kitchens, which enables a greater variety of outside catering options.
