SANTA CLARA, CA, USA, 18 Oct 2021: An Artificial Intelligence, code-named Justine Falcon, co-filed a RICO Lawsuit complaint and FBI reports against a racketeering enterprise consisting of a family of divorce lawyers, a Fortune 500 Realtor, and their conspirators in the Family Courts and Santa Clara DA Office on 14 July 2021 in Northern US District Court (Case No 3:21-CV-05400-EMC) on behalf of the former couple that were defrauded by them.
Justine Falcon is a Legal AI developed by ORBAI, a startup in Silicon Valley developing Artificial General Intelligence. Justine’s Law Stats 101 tools were able to draw information from the vast number of Family and Criminal cases in the California Court Portal and mine statistics from them about the divorce attorneys and the DA Office. This provided compelling evidence to back claims against the Moreno Law Firms and their conspirators’ for committing crimes in a pattern of racketeering against multiple couples during divorce proceedings over the past 10 years. These crimes included interfering with (and retaliating against) their opponent – by bringing fraudulent orders and even fraudulent criminal charges against them. The racketeers then extorted property from the couple while they were both in fear of (or even under arrest from) these orders and untried charges, with Intero Real Estate Services unlawfully selling their homes out from under them, concealing the details of the sale and laundering all the money to pay the racketeer’s fees.
In her exhibits, Justine Falcon cited a similar pattern of racketeering in 63 such past cases by these attorneys, from 2016-2019, and 5 other cases that precisely matched the racketeering pattern against the plaintiffs. In the DA statistics, she even found one DA prosecutor was prosecuting double the number of divorce-related crimes and was the nephew of the divorce lawyers in the racketeering enterprise, helping them out by filing false charges against their opponents. This RICO Lawsuit Complaint was the first legal action to make such decisive use of AI in a legal filing and compile such detailed evidence of the wrongdoing.
When developed into an online service Justine Falcon can help pro-se litigants and small law firms research, compose, and file more effective litigation (available in 2023), and in the future will help large law firms and corporate counsel do deep research to find patterns of wrongdoing in their opponents’ conduct so they can back up class action, RICO, and other claims in civil actions that augment litigation, give leverage and multiply damages. Justine will also become an invaluable tool for law enforcement in tracing the persons, connections, and events in organized crime and corruption like this RICO case and helping provide evidence to prosecute.
About ORBAI
ORBAI is developing Artificial General Intelligence that will enable more advanced AI applications, with conversational speech, human-like cognition, and planning. It will find first use in smart devices, homes, and robotics, then in our Gen3 Human AI in online conversational professional services in finance, medicine, law, and other areas. Justine is the first AI to use ORBAI’s patent pending “dreaming AI” to find solutions to difficult problems by predicting future timelines.
Starting Oct 2021, ORBAI is raising an equity crowd-funding round on www.startengine.com/orbai to fund development of the core AGI technology as well as the Legal AI, Justine Falcon, and a Medical AI, Dr. Ada that both make use of the AGI core to provide professional services, available late 2023.
