Paul And Sara Finkelstein Both Win Number 1 Position In Alignable’s Local Business Person Of The Year Contest For Both Delray Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Chuck Casto, Head of Corporate Communications and News for Alignable says, "Paul Finkelstein and Sara Finkelstein are two of the most polite people on the internet and all of social media. They have learned the 2 most powerful words at an early age from their parents; Thank You."
According to Paul and Sara Finkelstein, "Winning the Local Business Person of the Year Contest out of 9,000,000 members of Alignable, the top small business site and resource, happens because of definite purpose." Because of the thought and leadership principles Paul Finkelstein and Sara Finkelstein learned from Ralph Smedley, Dale Carnegie, and Napoleon Hill, entrepreneurs, small business owners and Toastmasters appreciate the results these two go-getters achieved on Alignable.

"Winning the Local Business Person of the Year 2024 contest is like Alignable's Super Bowl and not for the faint of heart," said Paul Finkelstein. The Alignable Local Business Person of the Year contest, held annually from January to March offers business owners a chance to compete directly with over 9 million other small business owners and Entrepreneurs. Winning this annual juggernaut of popularity is no small feat. In addition to Top Number 1 position Local business person of 2024, Paul also ranked among the Top 15 of all of North America. His message to the World is, "You Can Do It Too."

According to Chuck Casto, Head of Corporate Communications and News for Alignable, "One of the main reasons Paul Finkelstein and Sara Finkelstein won the Local Business Person of the Year 2024 out of 9 million members is because they know and learned the 2 most powerful words at a very early age: Thank you."

The first step Napoleon Hill and Dexter Yager taught Paul and Sara Finkelstein is to have definite purpose and or a Dream. Thus, the Finkelstein's made a 2 Year commitment to bring small business professionals and entrepreneurs together under 1 roof in their respective local business communities, Delray Beach, Florida and Fort Lauderdale, FL without pay - the pay it forward business philanthropy business model.Their efforts to connect with a lot of local and Professionals across North America and Canada did get noticed...hugely so.

The Finkelsteins run 14 events on a monthly basis and collaborate with other local networkers and leaders. Why give their members and guests everything another would charge for their services? Sara and Paul Finkelstein believe in giving back, that givers gain and in giving more than you get.  According to the late Zig Ziglar, "You must help enough others get what they want and then you will get what you want."

For Paul Finkelstein, another entrepreneurial holy grail is becoming a "DTM" or Distinguished Toastmaster. This is an award or recognition only given to go-getters and top achievers of all Toastmasters worldwide in 149 countries. Only 1/2 of 1% ever make the leap or decision to go for it.

"Life is short," says Paul Finkelstein.  "In order to achieve that award one has to perform over 50 speeches, many impromptu talks and it usually takes at least 2 years. Then comes completing two rigorous leadership pathways and serving as an Area Director in one of 100 districts worldwide." Paul also had to get through a very competitive interview process and he was at first unsuccessful and had to delay for another 12 months. Persistence, guts and drive helped Paul fly through the interview once again and breeze through it. Like Paul's past success experiences, he made a to-do list everyday, achieved his daily goals and ultimately the grand prize of DTM.

Serving Over 6 Toastmasters Clubs, visiting them all at least twice during a calendar year, running several contests, coordinating 50-100  members and guests to hold fun and rewarding contests is key. Says Paul, "The team environment is what helped everyone advance forward to success and attending as a district committee member every month on top of a full-time position at a local money management firm is no easy task but very possible."

Paul Finkelstein DTM continues to serve small business hosting small biz and entrepreneur complimentary meet-and-greets with a structured and fun agenda for an hour each week, several times a month. He hosts over 14 unique, free meet greets every month as a give back, ostensibly doing for free the SAME exact things BNI, Le Tip, and chambers of commerce do. Paul ups the game and adds 3 one-to-ones in every hour. It's something no other biz organization does in addition to intros, presentations and feedback from all guests.

This small business system is essentially not an instant referral team but in at least 3 to 10 instances, at 3-10 meetings in a row, it's a way businesses can get referrals and grow their brand while growing their bottom line and revenue.
