On May 15, 2024, Summit National Bank became aware of an unauthorized cybersecurity incident on their network. Summit National Bank immediately launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation concluded that an unauthorized party accessed certain individuals’ sensitive information on Summit National Bank’s network between May 13, 2024, to May 16, 2024. Summit National Bank began sending out notices to potentially impacted individuals after the investigation concluded on July 12, 2024.
