Federman & Sherwood Investigates Keffer Development Services, LLC which maintains Athletic Trainer Services, a service used by Kent State University Athletics for Data Breach

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Keffer Development Services, LLC which maintains Athletic Trainer Services (ATS), a service used by Kent State University Athletics with respect to their recent data breach. Kent State University is a customer of Keffer and uses ATS for the treatment management of Kent State University’s athletes. On or around December 14, 2023, an unauthorized third party gained access to some sensitive and personal information. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

• Athletic treatment history
• COVID-19 status, including vaccinations
• Social Security Numbers
