About Mr. Robert A. Preston
Mr. Preston is the division director for the chiller division at EMCOR Services Shambaugh, where he has served since 2023. In this role, he directs all sales efforts and manages operations and administrative staff for the chiller division, the first such business unit developed by Shambaugh & Havel.
Mr. Preston works closely with customers to enhance building efficiency, collaborating with technicians to troubleshoot issues and with account managers to develop tailored sales strategies. Mr. Preston's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in applied management from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2008 and a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in management from the University of Saint Francis in 2001. His education laid a strong foundation for his career in the HVAC industry. In addition, he credits influential mentors, particularly his football coach, Kevin Donnelly, for shaping his career path.
