Andrew Elliston, MD, co-founded the practice in 2019 with Heidi Meeker, BSN, RNC-OB, MNN, LRN, EFM, a registered nurse and his wife. A 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Elliston has built a reputation for providing exceptional, family-centered pediatric care that emphasizes preventive medicine, anticipatory guidance, and evidence-based, minimally invasive treatments. Dr. Elliston earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed residency training in pediatrics at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.
Michelle L. Bennett, MD, has been practicing pediatrics since 2002. She has a special interest in supporting breastfeeding and in providing a holistic, individualized approach to each child's care. She is a 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
Dr. Bennett earned her medical degree — Alpha Omega Alpha, with honors in pediatrics — at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Bennett completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of South Carolina, Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital, now known as Prisma Health Richland Hospital.
Cherilyn Davis, MD, has unique expertise in health communications, specifically patient-provider dialogue. She has been honored with the Susan L. Ivey Courage to Lead Award and the 2022 Inspire Award from the American Medical Women's Association.
Dr. Davis earned her medical degree, with honors in pediatrics, from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, where she is an inductee of the Hobart Armory Hare Medical Honor Society. She completed residency training in pediatrics at Children's National Hospital.
Danis Copenhaver, MD, has been serving Brooklyn families since 2014. She has special clinical interest in development, neurodiversity, and dermatology.
Dr. Copenhaver earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed residency training in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of New York/Columbia University. She is a 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
Laura Varghese, BSN, RNC-OB, LRN, MNN, IBCLC — Elliston Pediatrics' Clinical Nurse Coordinator — works closely with patients and the physicians to ensure a seamless follow through of care plans and specialist referrals.
