On February 21, 2002, Computer Associates International, Inc. ("CA") issued a press release to announce that contrary to a filed news report, it had not drawn down one of its credit lines to repay outstanding obligations on its commercial paper program. The press release also contains other information about CA's recent debt repayments. CA held a conference call on February 22, 2002 to discuss the matters contained in the press release and other recent events.
