Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective January 1, 2013, Randy M. Newcomer will lead the NGL and Petrochemical Services business of The Williams Companies, Inc. ("Williams") and Williams Partners L.P. ("WPZ") on an interim basis, acting as a Senior Vice President, NGL and Petchem Services, of Williams and Williams Partners GP LLC, the general partner of WPZ.
Mr. Newcomer, age 60, has been Williams' Vice President, Operations Performance - Midstream, since 2010, managing since 2011 the team that reorganized Williams' senior management structure. He was a vice president for Williams' olefins & natural gas liquids business from 2004. From 1996, he was a vice president for refining and marketing operations of Williams or MAPCO, Inc., which merged with Williams in 1998.
Williams Partners GP LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams, and Williams owns approximately 70 percent of WPZ, including the general partner interest.
