CLOSURE OF REGISTER OF MEMBERS

This notice is made pursuant to section 99 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 32 of Laws of Hong Kong). Reference is also made to the 2007 interim results announcement of China Mobile Limited (the “Company”) published on 16 August 2007.

Notice is hereby given that the register of members of the Company will be closed from 5 September 2007 to 7 September 2007 (both days inclusive). During this period, no transfer of shares will be registered. In order to qualify for the 2007 ordinary and special interim dividends, all transfers of shares accompanied by the relevant share certificates must be lodged with the Company’s share registrar, Hong Kong Registrars Limited, at Shops 1712–1716, 17th Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong not later than 4:30 p.m. on 4 September 2007. The ordinary and special interim dividends will be paid on or about 14 September 2007 to those shareholders on the register of members on 7 September 2007.
