Extension of Warrant
VANCOUVER, BC - Eldorado Gold Corporation (Eldorado, the Company, or we) announced that the Company will extend the expiry of Eldorados outstanding warrants from 5:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on August 25, 2004 to 5:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on August 25, 2005.
The warrants were issued in connection with an offering by a short form prospectus dated August 18, 2003. The warrant indenture (the Warrant Indenture) dated August 25, 2003 between the Company and Computershare Trust Company of Canada (Computershare) governing the Warrants has been amended by a supplemental warrant indenture dated August 16, 2004 between the Company and Computershare to extend the expiry date of the warrants.
As of the close of business on August 13, 2004, there were 12,442,650 warrants issued and outstanding. To the best of the Companys knowledge, no insiders hold any of the issued and outstanding warrants. Effective immediately prior to 5:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on August 25, 2004, all outstanding warrants issued under the Warrant Indenture are amended to extend the expiry time to 5:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on August 25, 2005.
