of our capacity expansion projects are now substantially complete, and
2009 capital spending is limited to those required to properly maintain
our equipment and facilities or complete active projects, such as the
ongoing construction of a melt furnace at our Morgantown
facility.

purchased $14.8 million in marketable equity securities during the first
three months of 2008 and $0.6 million during the first three months of
2009.
|
|

|
We
paid dividends on our common stock of $13.7 million in the first quarter
of 2008.
|

|
We
purchased $36.5 million of treasury stock during the first quarter of 2008
and made nominal purchases during the first quarter of
2009.
|
|
·
|
