According to Alaska Bible College’s latest announcement, the expanded four-year BA in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry offers students a sound theological framework that reflects the Truth of God’s revelation to life and ministry. The course teaches students to understand, engage and appreciate the world around them from a biblical viewpoint.
Students completing their degree at Alaska Bible College are equipped with the skills they need to succeed in the ministry, including the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, apply a broad range of skills in a vocational role, and lead effectively as servants in local churches or para-church settings.
Alaska Bible College also offers a BA in Elementary Education that certifies students to teach grade K to 5 learners in Alaska. The degree requirements are interdisciplinary and cover all areas necessary for successful teaching at an elementary level, connecting theory and practice in real classroom situations. By the time they graduate, students not only know how to teach the curricular knowledge, but they also understand the developmental and learning needs of grade K-5 learners.
