Robert August has released a new collection of this timeless slip-on boot for the beginning of 2023. As Who What Wear reported, from the most famous S/S 2023 runways, the boot is officially in as an all-year-round style staple for 2023, with the Chelsea boot tipped as the staple boot most likely to stay in vogue all year, even in the summer.
Robert August believes that the Chelsea boot harmonizes timeless and elegant design with a fresh, modern touch and, in their new collection, they have boots made of genuine python, which Who What Wear also labeled the most iconic boot texture for 2023.
Shoppers can also choose from other statement finishes like genuine alligator or the more subdued two-tone look of an artisan hand patina.
Once shoppers select their preferred base boot, such as Robert August’s new The Fulton St. Chelsea Boot No. 5516, they can then begin to customize it. Should shoppers want The Fulton St. Chelsea Boot as is, they will enjoy an understated classic boot made of black calf leather, with a black hand-painted leather sole and traditional English style rounded toe.
However, should they wish to use this as the base style for their own design, they will be able to choose the color—popular options like brown, navy blue, cognac and burgundy are all on offer. They will also be able to select the style of the laces, sole and toe.
