Handcrafted in Robert August’s Almansa, Spain workshop, the Fulton St. Chelsea Boot is made with the finest calf leathers sourced from respected tanneries in Italy, Germany, and Spain, and quality fabrics from prestigious mills in Italy, France, and Belgium. The workshop also uses an assortment of lasts and patinas to give each boot a unique shape and finish.
Every Fulton St. Chelsea Boot also features Goodyear welting. Created in 1872, the process involves stitching a welt (a long strip of leather) between the upper and the outsole. Though a labor-intensive process, Goodyear welting makes boots more durable, prevents water intrusion, and improves overall aesthetic.
In addition to the Fulton St. Chelsea Boot, Robert August also offers a variety of other footwear options for men, including dress shoes, chukkas, sneakers, trainers, loafers, and more. They also sell handcrafted belts and a line of 100% cotton button-up shirts.
