Tico Time Resort To Host a "Dry" Music Festival Focusing on Wellness & Sober Living

Serenity Festival is DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE event, Sept 15-19 near Durango, Colorado! Enjoy live music, inspiring workshops, yoga, ecstatic dance, cacao ceremony, live painting, performance art, late night DJ sets, and community connection.

AZTEC, N.M. & DURANGO, Colo. - Aug. 16, 2022 - PRLog -- Located on the Animas River 20 miles south of Durango, CO, "Costa Rican inspired" Tico Time Resort, will host a family friendly, high-spirited, and dynamic celebration of wellness, sobriety, and community connection. This September 15-19 at Serenity Festival, attendees can enjoy live music, dancing, art, yoga/health workshops, and outdoor entertainment in an alcohol and drug-free environment. Sobriety, along with mental health awareness and addiction recovery are at the forefront of this festival's intentions. Event guests are encouraged to embrace and respect the concept of sobriety. A plethora of non-alcoholic and health-inspired products will be available along with on-site food trucks/vendors.

"Many of the Serenity Festival performers, presenters, staff and vendors are sober and/or in recovery. Our intention is to create an all-natural experience without the presence of substances. We welcome those struggling with substance abuse, in recovery from substance abuse, or simply wish to explore the idea of having a good time while remaining present without the influence of substances. This is a non-profit event and all proceeds will be donated to Animas Alano Club." says Robert Holmes, owner of Tico Time & Pura Vida Venue.

Serenity Festival will feature a wide array of musical genres ranging from world beat, transformational, bluegrass, rock, reggae, singer/songwriter, and electronic dance music. Confirmed international acts include Satsang, Tierro Band with Bridget Law, Poranguí, Pato Banton, and many more! Various groups and non-profit organizations will be on-site offering resources for mental health/addiction awareness and support.

Part of Serenity Festival's overall mission is to focus on mental health and wellness for all, including addiction & recovery communities who may feel overlooked in today's musical-event culture. By providing support, information, and social interaction in a drug and alcohol-free space, Serenity Fest aims to show those early in recovery or considering reducing consumption that it is possible to enjoy such an event while sober. In addition to the many festival offerings, Tico Time offers water slides/jumps, paddleboarding, river tubing, zipline, a sky swing, beach volleyball, disc golf, a climbing wall, biking, hiking, and adventure tours for the entire family.

Tico Time River Resort is located at 20 Road 2050, Aztec, NM 87410. All-inclusive 4-day festival passes are available at $150 which will include walk-in tent camping.
