It was the smack heard and seen around the world on Sunday when Will Smith approached Chris Rock and slapped the comedian after he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head. On Monday, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences said it is launching a formal review into the altercation.
