Chicago, Illinois Jan 15, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The National Scavenger League Launches in Chicago

Interactive Mobile Game Brings Competitive Scavenger Hunt

The National Scavenger League (NSL) is proud to announce its official debut in Chicago. The interactive mobile game takes exploration and technology to the next level by modernizing an old-time favorite: the scavenger hunt. The idea for NSL, the nation's first competitive scavenger hunt, was initiated by husband and wife duo, Brian and Brittany Brindza during mandatory lockdowns early on in the pandemic and was brought to life through a partnership with Farshore, award-winning software and design firm based in Chicago.

"NSL was created as a fun way to explore all that the Windy City has to offer, and we could not be more excited to launch in our hometown of Chicago," says Brian "NSL Commissioner" Brindza. "We have been working on this idea and concept since December of 2020 and can't wait to see it come to life. If you love riddles, competitive sports, cash prizes, and exploring, this game is totally for you. Think Amazing Race meets Pokémon Go."

Participants must download the app to register teams of two. Registration for the first tournament opens on January 1, 2022, and the inaugural scavenger hunt will begin at 9 AM on March 26, 2022, and end at 9 PM the same day. The two-person teams will set out to solve a series of clues peppered throughout the city and have 12 hours to complete the race. Clues will range from monuments and historical sites to local pubs, parks, and photo clues. The first team to solve all of the clues will be deemed the Grand Prize winners and take home a whopping $25,000.

"Chi-Town boasts exciting places to explore like the historic Sears tower, the Magnificent Mile, and Lincoln Park Zoo - this is a scavenger's heaven! What better place to jump off a one-of-a-kind competition than a town with 5 miles of Pedway and iconic double-decked streets. The city which is the birthplace of Walt Disney and home of the Bulls is ripe for a competition of this magnitude," adds Commissioner Brindza.

Each tournament is limited to 1,000 teams. Registrants must be 18 years or older. Future tournaments are planned throughout the U.S. including Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Austin, and Denver.
