Maryland sees 'modest' growth in September with 1,200 new jobs

Maryland has gained a total of 65,700 jobs since the beginning of 2021, but the state still has 4.5% fewer jobs than it did in February 2020 before the pandemic led to a government-enforced shutdown of businesses.
