Earthquake recorded off Alaska; tsunami watch issued for Hawaii

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded late Wednesday off of Alaska’s Aleutian Islands, prompting the Tsunami Warning Center to announce that it is “assessing the situation.”
