Smell’N Bomb: How Sheon Paige Turned a Dream into a Luxury Self-Care Brand

The Inspiration Behind Smell’N Bomb

In a world that constantly demands our attention, finding time for self-care can feel impossible. That’s where Smell’N Bomb comes in—a luxury bath bomb brand founded by Sheon Paige, dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and giving people an excuse to slow down and take care of themselves.

Smell’N Bomb creates high-quality bath bombs, shower steamers, and soon-to-launch bath teas and salts. But for Sheon, this isn’t just about selling bath products—it’s about encouraging people to prioritize themselves, even if it’s just for a few minutes in a warm, fragrant bath.

From a Dream to Reality

Smell’N Bomb wasn’t born from years of industry experience or a lifelong passion for bath products. In fact, Sheon had only used a bath bomb once before starting the business.

The idea came to her in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, during a moment of prayer. She asked for guidance on how to create a business that could bring joy to others. That night, she had an incredibly vivid dream—she saw herself making bath bombs and running a bath bomb company.

When she woke up, she knew it was meant to be.

“I just went straight into research mode,” she recalls. Sheon started watching tons of videos and started experimenting.

Blending Creativity with Business

With a background in art and DIY projects, Sheon approached bath bomb-making like an artist, determined to create something visually unique. Rather than making simple, one-color bath bombs, she wanted to elevate the design.

That’s how she developed Smell’N Bomb’s signature geode bath bombs—stunning creations that resemble amethyst geode rocks.

After perfecting her formula and designs, she had to figure out how to get her products into people’s hands. She started by sharing her creations online and attending local vendor events and farmers markets. The response was overwhelming—customers immediately fell in love with her luxurious, artistic bath bombs and wanted to know where they could buy more.

Finding Her Place in the Market

With bath bombs already being a competitive industry, Sheon knew she needed to differentiate her brand. Instead of targeting children or teens like many bath bomb companies do, she decided to focus on adult women who appreciate luxury self-care products.

That decision also influenced her pricing. Initially, she was hesitant to charge what her products were truly worth, but customer feedback quickly changed her mindset.

Sheon had customers tell her, “This is all you’re charging for this?!” and it made Sheon realize that she needed to be confident in her pricing. Once she started charging the actual price, customers understood the value, and no one questioned it.

Expanding Beyond Bath Bombs

Smell’N Bomb started with bath bombs, but the brand has expanded into shower steamers, body soaps, and candles, with bath teas and salts on the way. But the real game-changer for the business has been wholesale.

What started as an Etsy-based brand has now grown into a supplier for hotels, spas, and wellness centers. One of her biggest wholesale clients is Ambiente, a luxury hotel in Sedona, Arizona. Wholesale has become Sheon’s primary focus, allowing her to scale the business while maintaining the high-quality ingredients and craftsmanship that set Smell’N Bomb apart.

Connecting with WBEC-West

As Sheon’s wholesale business grew, she wanted to connect with larger companies and learn how to navigate the world of corporate partnerships. That’s what led her to WBEC-West.

Through networking and attending events like the Madam C.J. Walker conference, she’s gaining the knowledge and connections she needs to take Smell’N Bomb to the next level.

The Future of Smell’N Bomb

With a clear vision and a passion for self-care, Sheon Paige is just getting started. Her goal is to continue expanding Smell’N Bomb’s product line while growing her wholesale partnerships. More importantly, she remains committed to her original mission—helping people find joy and relaxation in their daily lives.

At the end of the day, self-care isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. To learn more about Smell’N Bomb, visit https://smellnbomb.com/ and listen to Sheon’s full journey on Women in Motion now: https://businessradiox.com/podcast/women-in-motion/smelln-bomb/
