Dr. Hoffman brings expertise, compassion, and a global perspective to their practice, further enhancing its commitment to exceptional patient care.
Dr. Roy Geronemus, the Medical Director of Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York, expressed his enthusiasm about Dr. Hoffman joining the team: "We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Hannah Hoffman to our practice. Dr. Hoffman, a native of Long Island, completed her undergraduate education as a Presidential Scholar at New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a concentration in African Studies. She went on to obtain her medical degree from the prestigious Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. During her academic years, Dr. Hoffman distinguished herself through her research at the Feinstein Institute and her dedication to global health, including her work in a medical clinic in Uganda.
Dr. Hoffman’s exemplary performance and compassionate care were recognized with her induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Hoffman then completed five years of rigorous general surgery training at Northwell Health, gaining extensive experience in managing complex cases and refining her surgical skills across various specialties, including trauma/critical care, transplant, vascular, colorectal, minimally invasive, and pediatric surgery.
Driven by a passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Hoffman pursued a fellowship where she trained with renowned plastic surgeons at Stony Brook University Hospital, Nassau University Medical Center, and Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. Her fellowship provided comprehensive training in facial aesthetics, body contouring, reconstructive surgery, breast surgery, hand surgery, and craniofacial surgery. She also continued her global health initiatives, traveling to Ecuador and the Philippines to perform life-changing cleft lip and palate surgeries on children.
Dr. Hoffman’s philosophy centers on the belief that plastic surgery goes beyond enhancing physical appearance; it is also about restoring confidence and improving overall quality of life. "My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized care to each patient, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their journey," says Dr. Hoffman.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Hoffman is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoys cooking, fashion, and staying updated with the latest reality television shows.
