Notably, the ESGAcode Committee reviewed 350 aviation entity samples this year, with 65 entities (18.57%) achieving ratings within the global top 5%. Only 10 entities attained higher-tier evaluations ranking in the global top 1%. Among the 10 top 1% global civil aviation entities, two carriers have been awarded specialized codes by the ESGAcode Committee for the first time this year while simultaneously securing higher level ratings: China Southern Airlines (China) and ITA Airways (Italy).
