ONTARIO, CA. – The NLBWA-IE’s Latina BizCon™ returns to the Ontario Convention Center on October 27th 2022 for an in-person exciting, tech-focused line-up. The conference’s central emphasis, ‘Facing and Embracing the Digital Future Together,’ addresses topicsto empower Latina entrepreneurs and small businesses of color to transform their businesses through innovation and technology. Audience members will have an interactive session on Business Certification to access large contract opportunities and will also learn about Procurement and Cyber Threats. Registered participants in the ‘Biz-Match-Making’ session will present their business plans to potential state, federal, and public utility buyers.

Keynote speakers for the event are Ana Lasso, Director of the California Department of General Services and Gioia Messinger, Founder and CEO of LinkedObjects and a successful Latina Tech Entrepreneur.
Executives, entrepreneurs, and technology experts will discuss how small businesses can positioned to compete in today’s market. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with expert mentors to help them navigate and integrate these technologies into business operations.

Katherine Wetherbee, CEO of Syntech Group, will speak on cyber threats, privacy breaches, and the new “Must-Know” Tech-trends. The “Transformative Technology” panel discussion focused on technology for small businesses will moderated by David Pearson, Managing Director of Entrepreneurial Programs, EPIC UC Riverside. He will be joined by Gioia Messinger, LinkedObjects Founder; Gregg Profozich, CMTC, Director of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies; Alex Delgadillo, SecLex, Chief Information Security Officer; Samantha Huerta, Microsoft, Cloud Solution Architect.
