(b)             Departure of Certain Officer
 
On October 9, 2008, Selective Insurance Group, Inc. announced that Eduard J. Pulkstenis, an Executive Vice President of Selective Insurance Company of America (“SICA”), the lead insurance subsidiary of Selective Insurance Group, Inc., will be resigning from SICA as of October 10, 2008 to join a national property and casualty insurance company.
