On November 8, 2011, Marshall Sterman resigned from the board of directors of Converted Organics Inc. (the "Company"). The resignation was not a result of any disagreements with the Company on any matters relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices. Edward Stoltenberg will remain as an independent director.

On November 9, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing the resignation of Marshall Sterman from the Company's board of directors. Edward Stoltenberg will remain as an independent director.
