ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The board of directors (the “Board”) of China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Company”) is pleased to disclose the operational statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively the “Group”) for the month of December 2012.

Operational statistics for the month of December 2012 are as follows:

Aggregate Number of 2G Service Subscribers			162.856 million
Net Additions of 2G Service Subscribers			(0.036) million
Aggregate Number of 3G Service Subscribers			76.456 million
Net Additions of 3G Service Subscribers			3.132 million
WIRELINE BUSINESS:
Aggregate Number of Local Access Subscribers			91.957 million
Net Additions of Local Access Subscribers			(0.465) million
Aggregate Number of Broadband Subscribers			63.869 million
Net Additions of Broadband Subscribers			0.093 million

Notes:

 

1	All the Aggregate Numbers recorded for the month of December 2012 are aggregate data reported at 24:00 on 31 December 2012.

 

2	The accounting period of all Net Additions for the month of December 2012 is the period commencing from 0:00 on 1 December 2012 to 24:00 on 31 December 2012.

 

3	Net Additions of 3G Service Subscribers include 0.0531 million 3G Data Card Subscribers.
