A copy of the Cell Therapeutics, Inc.’s (the “Company”) press release, entitled “Cell Therapeutics Adjourns Special Meeting of Shareholders” is furnished and not filed pursuant to Item 7.01 as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. On June 29, 2010, the Company announced that the Company has adjourned its Special Meeting of Shareholders and is no longer soliciting proxies with regard to that meeting. The Special Meeting of Shareholders will not be rescheduled. The Company plans to hold an Annual Meeting of Shareholders later this year.
