ITEM 2.02. RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On October 10, 2007, Oscient Pharmaceuticals Corporation (“Oscient”) issued a press release announcing its preliminary financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. The press release contains forward-looking statements regarding Oscient and includes cautionary statements identifying important factors that could cause actual results to differ materially from those anticipated.
