On June 28, 2006, Oscient Pharmaceuticals Corporation issued a press release announcing the meeting date for the FDA Anti-Infective Drugs Advisory Committee’s review of the supplemental New Drug Application for FACTIVE® (gemifloxacin mesylate) tablets for the treatment of acute bacterial sinusitis, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
