Item 2.02          Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On April 21, 2016, Snap-on Incorporated (the “Corporation”) issued a press release entitled “Snap-on Announces First Quarter 2016 Results; Diluted EPS of $2.16 increases 15.5%; Operating earnings before financial services of 18.6% of sales up 190 basis points; Organic sales increase 2.5%.” The text of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99 and incorporated herein by reference.
